Ask ARD

Ask ARD sits in the bar at the bottom of every page. It is where you go for help without leaving what you are working on.

The Docs Tab

The Docs tab answers questions about how ARD works, drawing on the ARD documentation and vehicle-dynamics reference material rather than answering from memory. Answers link back to the source page so you can read the detail.

Ask in your own words, the way you would ask a colleague:

  • "How do I upload a .TIR file?"
  • "What is a QSS lap time simulation?"
  • "How do component versions work?"

Each conversation is kept in its own history, so you can leave an answer and come back to it later.

It also knows which page you are on, so you can ask about what is in front of you without spelling it out - "how do I change the x axis?" asked on the Metrics page is answered for Metrics. If you mean somewhere else, name it in the question.

What it is not for

The Docs tab answers questions about the platform itself. It cannot see your vehicles, setups or results, so it cannot tell you why your lap time changed or what your car is doing.

The user guide is the final word

This is the first release of the docs assistant. If an answer looks wrong or does not match what you see on screen, trust this user guide — and use the Support tab to reach a person.

The Support Tab

The Support tab is a direct line to the ARD team. Use it for account questions, suspected bugs, or anything the Docs tab could not resolve.
